It has been about a year since our MENTORise group was formed, and what an exciting year it has been!
Five different young entrepreneurs have been meeting with their mentors and have been developing and advancing their business ideas. From the feedback we have been receiving, their mentoring relationships have been very helpful.
The vision I began with has come to fruition: to help launch or develop businesses in our area by partnering the people who have an idea and desire to start or grow a business with experienced business owners or community leaders who have the willingness to share their time and knowledge.
The door to success is open to everyone! Our group of mentors would like to help more people join the ranks of entrepreneurs and business owners. The American dream of creating and owning your own business is real. Let us help you!
It has been such a rewarding experience being part of this program. The mentee that was assigned to me didn’t have an idea when we started, but a few weeks in he called me and we discussed the potential for a non-profit. While that isn’t an area I bring much knowledge, I was able to reach out to my network and help get him in touch with the right people. I can’t wait to see what he creates!
